Luxembourg constructs aircraft stands

first_imgIn the first four months of 2017, Luxembourg Airport handled 286,000 tonnes, a growth rate of 16.4 percent in comparison to the same period of 2016. According to Lux-Airport, the growth rate exceeds the worldwide 14 percent growth of airfreight, based on the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) first quarter statistics of 2017.The months of March and April saw growth rates at 22.1 percent and 19.4 percent respectively, growth rates not seen since the 2008 financial crisis, claims Lux-Airport.The first two stands will be available in April 2018, with the remaining two expected in October, 2018.
