Hyderabad would have expected to taken the lead after recording eight shots on target, but it didn’t happen. The visitors wasted a couple of counter attacking chances that came their way.Coming back from the break, NorthEast immediately made a couple of changes as Nikhil and Komorski made way for Maxi Barreiro and Vaz. In an unfortunate event, they were forced to make their third and final change within minutes as Asamoah Gyan went injured.The second half saw the visitors start on a bright note as Kamaljit Singh was forced to make a couple of early saves. NorthEast kept applying the pressure constantly and were trying to find a way through.Finally in the 85th minute, Shankar, who had a brilliant game until then for the hosts committed a blunder to award NorthEast a penalty. Barreiro then stepped up to convert the penalty and give his side the lead.In the added time, Marcelinho came close to equalising but his shot went just wide of the goal post. Finally, the visitors somehow hung on to pocket all the three points.
