GAINESVILLE, FL – NOVEMBER 27: Florida Gators head football coach Dan Mullen speaks during an introductory press conference at the Bill Heavener football complex on November 27, 2017 in Gainesville, Florida. (Photo by Rob Foldy/Getty Images)If last week’s loss to Kentucky wasn’t embarrassing enough for Florida head coach Dan Mullen, then his bizarre tweet today will certainly do the trick. With the Gators hosting Colorado State later this afternoon, it appears someone hacked Mullen’s Twitter account. Well, at least it seems that way. This morning, Mullen’s account posted the message “This is not Dan number anymore,” which has the majority of the college football world confused. Not only does this tweet make zero sense, but it’s also weird to think that Mullen would be on Twitter before their matchup. Considering the fact that Florida is paying the Rams $2 million to play today, the Gators desperately need a bounce-back victory. Besides, starting off 1-2 would have heads rolling in Gator Nation.Of course, the rest of the Twitter universe had fun at Mullen’s expense.Dan Mullen lost to Kentucky and lost his twitter in the same week pic.twitter.com/7HgcalBQgs— Travis Haney (@travhaney) September 15, 2018It’s certainly a strange situation, but defeating Colorado State would help ease the tension in Tallahassee.Florida and Colorado State are set to kick off at 4:00 p.m. ET. The game will be on the SEC Network.
